30 S CVT Mount for F-N-R Gearbox
Smaller 6.5 HP engines and below can use a 30 series TAV2 system which bolts onto the side of the engine making for a quick and simple drive system, with this mount you need to use the 30 S driver clutch on the engine and the 5/8” bore driven pulley on the gearbox.

This mount is suitable for the Comet 30 Series.

This mount has been made for engines with a ¾” parallel out-put shaft. The precision laser cut plates allows you to mount the engine and bolt it down using the pre-cut holes, so you can use the 30 Series driver and driven at the correct distance apart with the correct alignment.
4 weld-on mount plates (5mm thick) are supplied so these can be welded into you kart, utility vehicle, wake boarding winch or what ever else this is being used for, the mount is slotted to allow for chain adjustment should it be required.
The drive can be taken from the gearbox 10 T 420 sprocket straight to your drive axle or via the reduction.
The reduction is a 20 T plate wheel 3/4″ lay shaft which has a 10 T 428 Sprocket on the other side so you get a 1/2 reduction.

Which ever option you choose you will need to weld the four mount plates into your vehicle.
This 30 S CVT mount can be purchased as: – (some options not yet available)
Option A: the laser cut mount only for you to weld.
Option B: the laser cut mount for you to weld and all the sundries.
Option C: the laser cut mount welded only. No sundries or gearbox.
Option D: the laser cut mount welded and all the sundries with the gearbox.( Driver and Driven CVT available separately)
Option E: as above with the Comet Torque converter Driver, Driven and belt.
The Gearbox is rated for 6.5 HP engines.
