Layshafts

5/8″ Dia Lay shaft x 10″ long Threaded both ends. 4 1/2″ keyway one end and 2 ” other end.

This shaft can be used on the Comet TAV as an extension shaft ( default shaft also available ) The Generic tavs tend to use a 17mm ID bearing so two 5/8″ ID would be needed, see CK Bearings.

Comes with:-

Heavy duty Circlip one end and nyloc nut on threaded end.

3/4″ dia x  layshafts, choice of lengths all now with 3/16″ key way full length.

This lay shaft can be used with :-

3/4″ pillow block bearings
3/4″ bore sprockets
3/4″ bore Torque converter Driven pulleys

3/16″ keysteel available separately.

Generic Tav 2 shaft extension, this shaft will not fit the Comet TAV, its for the generic TAV so the drive can can be moved near the centre of the kart.

Centre section 17MM 66 mm long, each side 95.25 mm ( including the threaded part ) You will need to leave the current sprocket in place to act as the correct size spacer or replace it with a spacer of equal width.
